We first thought of hiring Children of The Revolution after hearing them play at a xmas party and really liking what we heard. After some intial concerns that they might not be everyones cup of tea, I was so thrilled when they went down a storm, the dance floor was not empty all night. "Best wedding i've been too" was all we heard - we couldnt have asked for a better day! We had so many people comment on how brilliant they were and as the client we would agree, we found them completely professional and accomadating to our needs which made the whole process run so smoothly. What can I say, 'Children of the Revolution' rocked our wedding!! You have been so helpful, professional and enthusiastic right since our first email. Nothing has been too much trouble for you guys, not even playing in a potato storage shed!
On the night, you totally killed it, every tune you chose was perfect - there was not a bum left on a chair for 'Basketcase' or 'Sex on Fire' and not a dry eye in the house for your beautiful acoustic version of 'Time of Your Life'. I will always remember how full the dance floor was, how everyone had massive grins on their faces, and how Bill, aged 74 was rocking out to Fleetwood Mac with two glow-in-the-dark bracelets on! We can't thank you enough for helping make our day perfect.
Life gradually returns to normal, but remembering it all still makes me well up a bit! You have acquired two lifelong fans (stalkers?!) in Dan and myself, and we're really looking forward to catching you play somewhere soon.

We had such a great time & so it did all our guests, a huge thank you to all the band. From the first note that Children of the Rev played the dance floor was full. There was none of the usual slow start to the dancing or numbers when the dance floor just emptied. The band certainly passed the 'Party acid test' with flying colours due to the high standard of their performance and style of music.

I'm sorry it's taken me a while but I wanted to say a massive thank you for playing at our wedding. I thought you were absolutely awesome and I had such a great evening (you might have noticed!). Definitely by far the best band we've seen at a wedding and this was reiterated by lots of our friends.
We selfishly chose you because we thought you sounded great but you had everyone up dancing from Guy's 6 year old niece to my 60+ year old Dad!
We really appreciated you coming all the way down to Hayling and also coming early to set up. I was really impressed by your friendliness and enthusiasm (you wouldn't have known you had 2 more weddings to play at that weekend!).

Hiya, just wanted to say a MASSIVE thank you for Sat night. Everyone loved the band and although it seemed like hard work to get everyone up bopping...eventually most people were up having a good dance ! I think the venue is so big that it can feel a bit empty and I was worried about it at first - but then thought sod it, I'm staying on the dance floor and bopping the night away ! My little girl Lily rocked the dancefloor most of the night, she loved the music and I think she would have kept going until early hours of the morning ! We keep asking the kids what was the best part of the day - and they both answer with, the band, the dancing, the music, the drums - so it was all about you guys ! Max loved the drums too - thank you for letting him have a go x....
was an excellent day, EVERYONE thoroughly enjoyed themselves and it was deffo a day/night not to forget - most people said it's one of the best weddings they've been to - and there are a few people that are responsible for it being the best - and you guys are part of that group !
So we thank you BIG TIME and will be telling everyone about you

We had an absolutely perfect day, and really can't say thank you enough to you. We were so pleased (and surprised) that you all managed to get through ok in the snow, all the way from Peterborough.
All our friends and family were very impressed with the band, and we would recommend you very highly. Everyone loved both the songs that you played and the DJ sets in between - I think Denise was on the dance floor the entire evening! We've actually passed on your details to a friend of a friend already who are getting married in Brighton.

I REALLY landed on my feet when I came across Children of the Revolution on the internet... From the 1st point of contact with Rob I knew I had made the right decision. Rob couldn't have been more helpful and I had some quite bizarre requests as my party was an Abigails Party 70's style theme and he went over and beyond the call of duty to source my requirements.
The guys arrived and went about setting up with minimal fuss. The night went completely to plan, and they played and sang brilliantly. They were adaptable to all my friends wishes during the evening too.
People are still talking about them, and everyone has asked how I found them. I will ensure that one of them will book Children of the Rev in the future just so that I can see them all again.
Stop looking for a band - you have found them!!!
